Casa Tierra is a tradicional rustic house. We offer home-cooked breakfast, slow mornings, deep sleep. It is in the countryside, but reacheable in a short bus ride from Zaragoza.

Staying with Teresa was like going back to a time when Axxxxb was a cultural exchange. Her house felt like home immediately and she will take care of you like you're long lost family. The house has been in the family for generations and was constructed with old regional techniques that are fascinating to learn about but also keep you wonderfully temperate whatever the season. If you're travelling around north Spain and are looking for a quiet respite, this is it. I will never forget Teresa or her neighbours and friends I had the privilege to meet on the night of San Juan.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Teresa. Avant même notre arrivée, Teresa nous avait envoyé beaucoup dínformations touristiques. Elle nous a accuelli chaleureusement et nous a donné de nombreux conseils très utiles! De plus, nous avons mange un excellent petit déjeuner fait maison!  Le logement était impeccable et agreable, nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Vraiment, tout était parfait.

OUR STORY

Who lives behind that old village house?

My name is Teresa. I’ve always loved travelling, exploring different countries, meeting new people. Ten years ago, my son started sharing this passion with me. I love discovering other ways of living and thinking, trying all sorts of food, walking slowly, my eyes sparkling at the sight of this new world that opens up on a journey. I delight in letting go of expectations and allowing the journey to carry me along, to suggest new plans and change my course. I enjoy being open to adventure, to the unexpected and the surprises it offers when you surrender to it. And for that very reason, I love welcoming travellers, offering a place of passage, a line in the book of a beautiful adventure. Because opening yourself up to Life isn’t just about catching a plane. Often, the magic comes when a traveller walks through the door. So… Let's live this adventure together!  :)

Come find us 

We are in Peñaflor de Gallego, 30 minutes from the centre of Zaragoza and 40 minutes from Huesca. We are situated between Barcelona and Madrid, and 1 hour 30 minutes from the Pyrenees. There is a local bus service to Zaragoza, and the bus stop is less than a minute’s walk from the house. And if you come by car, you'll be able to find parking easily near the house.
